With SAB’s plan to introduce new services, it is possible that Jordano will strategically be placed in terms of its ability to innovate new recipes from the supplies by SAB. Another important aspect is that another important pillar to the operation of Jordano will be added. Logistics, an element that has not been given attention in the past, is likely to be a key issue that gives the company a competitive advantage.

One of the critical aspects that will ensure success in the new relationship between SAB and Jordano is the current and probable future trends in the food and beverage industry. There is a need to ensure a synchronous supply chain that will eliminate possible downtime at the company and also increase efficiency ( Kumar et al., 2017). There is an opportunity for Jordano’s logistics leadership, in this case, Tracie, to discuss ways she thinks SAB can improve its services for the benefit of Jordano and other stakeholders. Being a visionary leader, it will be possible for her to discuss the technological infrastructure that will ease challenges related to transportation and storage of goods.
Information and control are other indispensable aspects of logistics that can be improved by cooperation between SAB and Jordano. Given that SAB plans to roll out new services that add value to its customers, extensive and strategic communication can come in handy in ensuring SAB’s customers fully benefit from the changes that SAB plans to implement. The parties involved can take advantage of more efficient modes of information handling. At the same time it is necessary that operational procedures are not interfered with by haphazard controls systems. Given SAB’s experience and the contribution of other stakeholders into how SAB can better serve them, it is possible that all SAB’s customers will benefit from a well thought out information dispersion system and control of logistics. Another possible area of logistics that will benefit from the cooperation is packaging and unitization. This is likely to complement transportation and storage related dynamics. This has potential because of the need for improvement of efficiency in all logistics-related undertakings, regardless of the industry a given company falls under.
