One personal strength that I have in regards to professional presentation is that I have well mastered the art of public speaking. Before doing a presentation, I like to know the audience that I will be interacting with. In this way, I prepare my presentation materials with the right language that fits the audience. I stay articulate in my presentation by keeping it simple and clear. Also, I use appropriate body language when doing my presentations. I match my body language with the theme of my presentation. I use nonverbal communication techniques such as poses, facial expressions, and gestures that match the theme of my presentation. Additionally, I use a proper tone of my voice when presenting. I make sure that I am audible and all the audience in the room can understand what I am saying.
One weakness I have regarding public presentations is that sometimes I get nervous before sleeping on the stage to make the presentation. However, I gain my confidence as soon as I step on the stage and start my presentation.

One of the strategies that I can use to overcome my nervousness is to get organized. Getting organized in both material and thoughts helps a speaker to become more calm and relaxed during the professional presentation ( Van Ginkel et al., 2017). Having clear and well-organized thoughts helps the speaker to focus on the topic ( Idrus, 2017). Another method is to prepared extensively. Although I already have this point as a strength, I think I need to do more. I need to prepare more than the script itself and think of possible questions that the audiences may ask during the presentation and think of how best I could answer these questions.
