The program improved my knowledge of the principles of management that are crucial in the nursing practice. This was achieved through the enhancement of my ability to use the nursing process to address complex health issues that affect individuals, families, and communities. 

The program emphasized the importance of using nursing processes to solve complex nursing issues. These issues are solved through the coordination of individuals, families, groups, and communities. This requires the application of leadership and management skills aside from the acquired practice skills in nursing. 

As illustrated through the program, effective communication is vital in the provision of quality healthcare through the nursing practice. The program was useful in understanding strategies and techniques to communicate professionally and therapeutically in different settings. 

The program underlined the importance of practicing ethical decision-making while practicing nursing. Ethical decision-making involves using the Code of Ethics to anticipate issues such as determining right and wrong in different situations. Additionally, the course provided guidelines to nursing practice that are useful in ethical decision-making. The guidelines are also crucial in resolving conflicts at workplaces. 

The program provided detailed legal guidelines, regulations, and standards that should be used in nursing practice. The nursing process should be guided by these standards, regulations, and guidelines as well as personal and professional discretion. The legal guidelines, regulations and standards may sometimes vary from depending on local and state authorities.
