Being a professional in the Human Service entails working with numerous people with varied temperaments and view of things. It is thus inevitable to get into arguments and confrontations that make it necessary to withhold or refrain from saying or doing things that one may regret later. The aspect of self-regulation thus becomes a key tool in handling the human service position.

Focus is a crucial part of the human service. One needs to be focused in order to handle tasks presented to them. Dealing with people requires high level focus so as not to confuse between reports, problems, situations and the general appreciation of phenomena.

The three main strategies that I will use in my self-care plan include:
Getting enough sleep,
Regular exercise and
Proper nutrition

Enough sleep
Doctors recommend getting enough sleep to all professionals if they want to have a bright day (Kravits et al., 2010). Enough sleep is important because it gives the brain the rest it needs so that one can be up and running effectively the following day.
Regular Exercise
Exercising on a regular basis compliments the strategy of getting sufficient sleep because it ensures to keep the body active and fit hence more focused. Furthermore, exercise helps avoiding health complications and diseases that ensure one is fit and in a suitable position to handle tasks presented at the place of work (Kravits et al., 2010). It is of utmost importance to be physically fit to avoid fatigue and lack of concentration at the place of work. Furthermore, regular exercise is crucial in ensuring a general good mood all through the day that is key when associating with people of varied characters at the place of work.
Proper Nutrition
A good nutrition compliments regular exercise and enough sleep because it helps maintain a good mental status, a healthy body and keeps one free from diseases that would otherwise slow them down and lessens their rate of work (Kravits et al., 2010). I intend to maintain proper diet and ensure it is balanced. The nutritional part of my life will increase and improve the overall repeatability at the place of work without having experiences of drain.
Importance of Self-Care Plan and Relationship with High Level Professionalism
A self-care plan ensures to train the mind and body to stay alert by providing a scheduled plan of the day. It helps take care of the body that is necessary in fulfilling all tasks. Having a well taken care of body is necessary for the fast solving of problems because one is able to relate quickly to situations as the body is in an active state and hence confident enough to look into challenges. According to Tooley (2018), a self-care plan helps maintain a balance between emotions and the mental and physical health.
It is imperative to have such balance because the emotions can easily erode the mental and physical health and as such it becomes necessary to take care and ensure the brain is in a good state. Usually, the times when one experiences emotional upheaval prove vital to consider taking care of the self because it could lead to a detrimental effect in the end especially at the place of work when relating with people of all calibres. Tooley (2018) advises people to take care of their lives and this can only be achieved through a self-care plan.

Well, professionalism must be exhibited by a professional and the only way for the professional to exhibit such is when he or she is in proper condition. As earlier mentioned, the self-care plan takes care of the body in various ways. One is able to gain focus and high level of concentration at the place of work that is necessary in problem solving. The plan further ensures that one develops a good mood all through the day that marks an important and crucial step towards relating well with others at the workplace ensuring one becomes an accomplished professional.
