Describe the measures of central tendency. Under what condition(s), should each one be used?
Measures of central tendency include:
Mean
The mean is the arithmetic average of a data set found by adding all the numbers in the data set then diving the sum by the number of values in the set of data.
The median
Median is the value in the middle when a data set is listed in descending or ascending order. That means that to find the median, the data has to be arranged from the smallest to the larges or from the largest to the smallest before one can find the median.
