I chose the article, “Using linear regression for t tests and analysis of variance”, by searching it through the Copley Library Resources. I specifically searched for an article related to my line of work (Registration Associate) and one that utilizes Simple Linear Regression. The reason for choosing this topic is because, since am a Registration Associate, I deal with hospital registration, recordkeeping, and other tasks involving analysis, the content in the article would enhance my knowledge regarding analysis of variance and how to apply linear regression for t test.
The author of the article, Nikolaos Pandis, is an Orthodontics professor in Bern University, Switzerland. In addition, he is an Associate Editor of Research Design and Statistics. He obtained his degree in Master of Science and trained on orthodontic speciality at Ohio State University in America. Hr studied his dental surgery in Athens University, Greece. His affiliations include research on Orthodontics, epidemiology, hygiene, and Dentofacial Orthopedics .

The question of interest includes determining how linear regression can be apply in analysing variance and for t tests. This questions helps to enhance my knowledge on utilization of linear regression in recordkeeping and registration of patients in hospitals.
The manuscript is of value because it comprises of content that is critical to the reader’s knowledge regarding aspects of linear regression and variance analysis. It describes the significance of utilizing simple linear regression as a crucial aspect for developing a successful recordkeeping in healthcare among other institutions. The question of interest is worth answering because as a Registration Associate, am able to understand how linear regression can be used to forecast the unending outcome including days to align. Moreover, we are able to understand that independent t tests and analysis of simple regression are equal. Therefore, the manuscript is important in enhancing knowledge of the Registration Associate in constructing an analysis of the record of patients in healthcare.
