What is your research question?

The research question for the study is how has corona virus incidence rate changed over time since the outbreak in 2019?

Describe the data that you need to collect (and analyze) in order to answer that question.

Multiple data sets will be required to complete the above-stated research. Such inclination includes the following tenets. The number of affected persons, the mortality rate of the patients, and those who have recovered from the disease. These three sets of data are expected to facilitate the completion of the research as it will establish the underlying dynamics that have defined the prevalence of this phenomenon.

How will you collect the data this week? Include the sampling technique and sample size that are practical under the time constraint.

Data collection will primarily rely on secondary sources as an ideal platform for enabling the researcher to actualize its projected goals. Notably, the statistics aspects that have defined the Corona Virus will be utilized in completing this research initiative. The sampling technique of the systemic sampling technique will be incorporated into the research undertaking to manipulate the highlighted variables. However, environmental sampling would be considered as a sector of a comprehensive outbreak examination together with outcomes from patients of COVID-19 examinations. This sampling method requires to be taken utilizing swab. A sample size of 1379 individuals will be included in the research undertaking. Such research predispositions are expected to steer the research in accomplishing the study objectives and ails.

Introduction

Since December 2019, Corona Virus has made headlines owing to its high infectious aspects. Having stated in China, the disease has spread to different parts of the world. Although there are multiple aspects that have been instigated to tame its prevalence, its pervasiveness remains relatively high. The information provided by the World Health Organization is an area of concern that can be used in expounding on the cases that have been over the past year on its prevalence. Understanding these dynamics can create an enabling platform to understand the critical issues that have taken place in relation with this issue. Based on these dynamics, the research seeks to engage in a detailed analysis on various areas including the mortality rate, affected population, and the recovery patters of the treated parties. The series of these numbers is expected to enhance comprehension of the underlying dynamics that define this phenomenon. The culmination of such inclination is projected to allow the researcher predict the data statistics evident in this subject.

Research Question

How has corona virus incidence rate changed overtime since the outbreak in 2019?

Study Design

The affected population is largely in China with other incidences being reported globally. The affected persons are largely within the Wuhan region of China. Besides, other regions that have been affected by the virus outbreak encompasses anotherpopulation ofstudy. The variables of interest in this study including multiple elements are confirmed cases of the corona virus as well as the mortality rate associated with this subject. Also, the recovery patterns of the affected persons is equally another variable of concern that will be taken into consideration. The observational unit = corona virus prevalence (n = 8). A systemic sampling technique will be incorporated in the research undertaking with an objective of manipulating the variables. The selection of the samples will be characterized a randomized approach. This method is largely influenced by the diverse population dynamic of the affected population. Such an inclination is expected to inform on enhanced sample selection. A sample size of 1379 individuals will be incorporated in the research undertaking. This research concerns bring about the understanding on the significant case chain currently of Covid-2019 infections. With the sample size of 1379 persons and give more information on the epidemiological, demographic together with the laboratory characters of the individuals. The study also provides the current status of the Covid-2019 infection in China as well as the comprehensive research of the past cases report.

Exploring Data

As stated previously, the research seeks to establish the inherent dynamics associated with corona virus prevalence. To illustrate the stated dynamics, the table illustration below demonstrates the various factors associated with subject of corona virus. Table one below illustrates the interconnectedness of such factors. The sample data is evident in the attached excel attachment. The sample data has been adequately manipulated and has informed the development of various conclusions regarding the subject of corona virus. The occurrence dynamics associated with this subject has witnessed an exponential growth with the number of affected persons increasing significantly. The infection rate is relatively high in China compared to the other regions across the world.

Results

The research is significant as it illustrates the dynamics that have defined the subject of corona virus. It establishes that the prevalence has been largely confined in China. The rate of infection in the other parts of world have been relatively low. Nonetheless, in China, the mortality rate is relatively high attributable to the high infection rate that has taken precedence in the country. As a result, China is the most affected nationality on the corona virus pandemic.

Table 1

Critically, table 1 illustrates the prevalence of corona virus in China as well as the inherent dynamic, the above figure illustrates the multiple cases that were reported and the morality rate prevalence regarding this issue. The lack of deaths associated with the virus is an illustration on the reduced mortality rate associated with this phenomenon. Similar inclinations illustrate an assumption that China has had the highest occurrence rate as evident with the 444 cases reported concerning this case study.

Conclusion

In summation, corona virus incidence rate has changed over time since the outbreak in 2019 with China being the most affected nationality given the high infection rate. Other nations have equally reported a rather slow patterns in the prevalence rate. Similar dynamics are reflected by the low to no infection rate. Based on such aspects, Corona virus incidence rate is primarily high in China across the world.
