There were approximately 725 airlines in the globe in 2012 providing a diverse array of services (Ansari et al., 2018). Many large, as well as medium-sized airlines, have at least some global routes. Hypothetically, air transport enjoys  higher  freedom of route choice  compared to most other modes. Nonetheless, while it is true that the model is less confined than land transport to specific privileges of way, it is nevertheless much more constrained than what might be required. Early in the past of aviation, physical issues such as the Rocky Mountains as well as the vast void of the North Atlantic limited the pronunciation of air transport grids. While such limitations have reduced, physical geography today affects the geography of express air transportation. Weather happenings such as snowstorms alongside thunderstorms can temporarily lead to chief disruptions. Aircraft seek, for example, to exploit (or avert) upper atmospheric winds, in essence, the jet stream , to elevate speed and diminish fuel intake. Volcanic eruptions might also obstruct air travel by emitting ash in the atmosphere, which can hurt and even shut down engines. Such happenings are however rare and prompt, with the elimination of 2010 in which a volcanic epidemic in Iceland forced the closing of airports in a mainstream of Europe as well as many other North Atlantic paths (Ansari et al., 2018). This indicated the most significant natural distraction of air travel in many years.

Freight forwarding is a critical facet in logistics and its facilities horizontal traffic from a section to another. Cargo forwarding operation can be illustrated as a collection of precise functions, errands, events, skills, alongside regulations that assist efficacious transport, delivery alongside movement of material commodities by any means of voyage and any conveyance path in traditional, combined with multi-modal transportation. A Freight Forwarder represents a cargo intermediate who takes up the transportation of commodities on behalf of his client, without himself assuming the responsibility of a carrier. Different names know such people, for example, clearing agent, customs agent, shipping and forwarding mediator in different countries. Freight forwarders have been referred to as travel agents for freight. A warehouse is a section of the logistics chain which is understood to get goods from the part where they arise to where they are needed in the right quality, time as well as costs ( Fahimnia et al., 2015).  It plays a fundamental role in the smooth functioning of logistics activity which finally supports the entire supply chain. It develops time utility by bringing the time void between manufacture and the consumption of items. It refers to the systematic storing of things with the objective of making them presented on demand. The essential function of warehousing involves handling, stockpiling, certification, product mixing, merging, fumigation, customs authorization inspection and confirmation among others.

Logistics innovation is of principal importance to the logistics elements when looking at the Supply Chain Management (SCM). SCM has become a critical element for the firm’s success. In this respect, truck companies and researchers have attempted to seek the best models of elevating logistics operations to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Global supply chain management encounters some challenges and competition which need firms to keep innovating to stay ahead of the rivalry. Because of technological advancements, the world is getting slighter. This has enabled companies to source materials and markets their commodities in markets which before far away. A truck firm needs efficiency, dependability, and predictability when engaging in moving items around the globe. Many elements can be connected with this, but there are those problematic changes which profoundly impact the entire market ( Murphy & Knemeyer, 2018). One such innovative approach is intermodal transportation and the utilization of containers for shipping goods across the world. Intermodal transportation is the utilization of more than one model of transport to carry a shipment from derivation to its destination. This mode offers a flexible response to the shifting requirements in SCM. A container is merely a metal box, but it permits goods to be moved and stored in standard manners on larger vessels, cars, and trains. Entrepreneurs exploited the possibility, and this led to massive variations and productivity elevations in ship loading as well as unloading, to safety and sanctuary advances, and substantial transport price reductions. The history of such containers dates back to 1950 ( Ansari et al., 2018). Malcolm Mclean shipped aluminum truck bodies in frames from Newark to Houston, marking the outline of containerization for moving material.

Road transport is the most common approach to move and distribute materials and products in many parts of the world. Road transport is the supplest of all the transport approaches. This enables companies to run large quantities of commodities, perform pick up services, and make distributions to numerous locations on one route. Heavy saleable transporters are utilized in moving goods. The road transport industry is mostly for the domestic market in many parts of the world, but with the ever-rising demands alongside collaborations within the other nations, many regions are today facing phenomenal growth in the truck transportation industry. This growth has created transport chances which the industry actors have to take advantage of ( Fahimnia et al., 2015).  Useful technology has to be used to bring about efficiency in activities. To avoid making wrong paths in new' territory, the connection of the GPS in trucks has to be conducted.
