Amazon has made remarkable steps in its operations since 1999. Considering the share of physical gross stock sold, the sales by third-party have increased from a one-digit percentage 3% to two-figure which is 58% in two decades. The third-party department is doing better than the first party in Amazon. The first-party rate of growth is estimated at 25% while the third-party growth rate averages 52% over a similar period. Also, the independent sellers thrived well in Amazon than on other platforms such as eBay. Despite the attempt for every party to yearn for a better result, third-party sellers in Amazon seem to have a competitive advantage over other parties.

Amazon Corporation offers the most suitable selling tools to independent sellers. These tools provide an advantage to them over their first-party investors. Some of these tools include managing inventory tools, track shipments and process payments tools among others. Since its start, the Amazon executives have kept precision on their goal – establishing a culture of builders. Every business needs to determine its goals for efficiency. Then, the plan should be designed and executed accordingly.

Lastly, when establishing the culture of builders, a company should consider customer feedback. At Amazon, their culture is customized depending on the answers that customers give. Currently, the company is focusing on specialized databases for particular jobs as well as assisting organizations to attain Machine Learning. Beyond its expectation and a seemingly earlier impossibility, Amazon.com is leading worldwide retail. This global company scales its failures while it experiences growth. The organization believes in working with a talented and versatile workforce, as shared repeatedly in its shareholder letters, that thinks and acts like the business owner.
