The bible supports the concept of enjoying the fruits of one’s labor. More so, it encourages people to spend the fruits and profits of their hard work sensibly (Tyndale, 2020). This explains why my actions to shift into a bigger home and buy a new car after realizing substantial profits from my business are justified. First, it is imperative to understand that running one’s business responsibly is a noble course. In particular, the Bible encourages people to work hard and contribute positively to their communities. The bible even suggests that those who do not work should not eat. In the book of second Thessalonians 3:10 (King James Version), Saint Paul stated “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you: that if any would not work, neither should he eat.” This biblical analogy affirms the need to work hard and benefit from the resulting fruits (Kohlenberger, 2004). For instance, to accumulate the profits that helped me to acquire my new home and car, I had to work hard and engage the management skills I have acquired over the years. Additionally, I often prayed to God to favor my business and supply me with grace to realize profits from my business. Consequently, the profits reflect the blessing that God has bestowed upon my life. Consequently, buying a bigger home and a new car is a sensible way of investing the blessings of God upon my life through business profits.

Finally, spending the money I have realized from my business to purchase a good home and a new car is virtuous because such actions would encourage other people to work hard and earn honestly. Ideally, earning good profits from business discourage people from engaging in greedy and criminal activities such as robbery, corruption, and other immoral ways of acquiring wealth (Kohlenberger, 2004). At the same time, spending the money I have earned to purchase a car and home is a wise investment decision that does not encourage greed.
