A trend analysis of the cash flow statement for AB InBev and Carlsberg for the year 2015 through 2017 is explained below.

In 2016, the highest increase was the cash flow from investing activities. AB, in 2015, recorder a low outflow in cash from these activities but in 2016 the cash out flow was even higher. The cash flow from financing activities also increased tremendously compared to 2017. The company also had a great percentage increase in dividends received in 2016 and 2017. Overall, the trend for the company cash flow has been an increase. The trend in the three years fluctuates a lot hence no determinable upward or downward trend.

Carlsberg cash flow statement shows an upward trend in cash flow items between 2016 and 2017. The company recorded a decrease in operating profit by 2.51% in 2016 and an increase by 4.95% in 2017. The cash flow from operating activities also decreased in 2016 by 8% while increasing in 2017 by 16.71%. The cash flow from investing activities also decreased in 2016 by 72.77% and increased in 2017 by 20.47%. The cash flow from financing activities increased within the three years. Overall, the company cash flow increased between 2015 and 2017.
