Part 1

Having a common interest between the stockholders and the managers is a crucial cause of conflict in a business or any activity (Majanga, 2015) . In my professional experience, it happened that I was among the senior workers of a company. The management becomes very selfish and had an unequal distribution of the dividends and the profits in a particular financial year. This was all about sharing of profits from a grant sale made that year. It occurred with a close collaboration between the associate’s bank and their respective bank managers.

These deeds resulted in lack of trust in the company. Therefore, we had to get some motivational tools to aid in coping up with the challenge. First, there is support from co-workers, and also other acquaintances had to apply. This can include worker strikes to plea for equity in the workplace. Moreover, the quest for freedom had also to be sought. This is whereby we as workers, we always need to ensure that all our contracts are documented in a legal file wherein a case where they are violated, we may seek the intervention of a court of law. With this, there will be equality between the management body and workers, and as a result, no one will be left feeling marginalized.

Precisely, seeking support from co-workers is the best way forward. This means that no one will turn up for work. As a result, the management will have to adhere to our terms since the company cannot operate without workers. For our case, since the violation of the company's constitution was evident, the board was the immediate protocol to inform. The legal actions had to be placed on board to help shun further egotistical acts from the management (Zhenming & Xiaolu,2017) .

Part 2

Time value of money in managerial decision making is essential. Money that one holds at the moment has both high future value and present value only if it is spent wisely. Investment is usually the key to this. In my managerial decision-making skills, I would invest money in an intra-year compound interest, which would be very profitable in future. In this case, I would gladly invest in rental homes. In modern society, more so in urban centres, there is a high demand for persons seeking houses to rent. This implies that this investment will be giving back a compound interest, whereby, every month, I will be subject to receiving rental fees from tenants. Therefore, it is always wise for a person to think of what to do with his/her money instead of keeping them in a bank account.
