In every business, there is the need for changes and innovation at one point or another. Nonetheless, the manner in which every organization implements these changes differentiates whether one succeeds or not. Researchers confirm this by theorizing that the manner in which the changes and innovations are implemented determines whether the applicable company succeeds or if they achieve their intended objectives. Though changes are inevitable, the one problem about changes and their implementation is that resistance to change hinders effective assimilation. Thus, if changes and innovations are to succeed, the people in charge have to make sure that they focus on overall implementation (Law & Verville, 2011). Bearing this in mind, I will want to create a communication strategy for Ford Motors and one that will help change and innovate how the company operates. The successful implementation of this will require that I come up with communication strategies and applicable structures that will help make sure the company’s process of message conveyance is effective. However, for me to succeed in this, I will have to make sure that I focus on Neil’s communication questions and use them as the right platform to address everything.

The context of analysis is that I will focus on creating a communication plan that helps address issues of value position, especially making sure that the conveyed message is perceivably appropriate. On these grounds, the case of interest at Ford Motors is to make sure I create a message that is aimed at showing why the company needs to change and how the innovativeness will benefit its overall execution of processes. Additionally, if the changes and innovation at Ford Motors are to succeed, I will also need to focus on ensuring that the message that is communicated to the applicable shareholder is right. For instance, there is the need to sensitize these individuals on why changes and innovation are important. This will involve outlining everything about the organization being updated and focusing on the current forces of the market. By doing so, the available options will be to initiate changes and innovation in phases, such that everybody is prepared for what is coming next. By avoiding drastic changes that may strain the organization, the possible solution to this organization is the assimilation of a transformational style of engagement. This style will help make sure that people understand the importance of the organization to move into being more innovative. The element of different parties working together will help ensure that the adoption process takes in steps, and this will allow the changes and innovation to move together with the company’s goals and objectives.

Supposed Achievements. The first step in creating an effective communication plan for Ford Motors is to ask myself the question of what I want to achieve. The answer to this question is quite significant since it will give me the chance to focus on how the ideas will be propagated as well as be able to deal with possible drawbacks. A critical analysis of this company shows that my primary objective should be to reinstitute its structure. In achieving this, I will need to focus on the implementation of policies and procedures, such that people will see the changes and innovation as necessary. This will be achieved by making sure that I inform the staff on the type of changes the organization is about to assimilate (Barker, 2010). Besides, outlining the advantages of this approach may convince them that they need to be the change. In particular, employees need to learn the essence of changes and innovations in this organization and how it will help them achieve better results. Having better communication with the employees and seeing that they receive and accept the message will be the needed breakthrough in this plan.

In times of changes, the reaction by the audience is dependent on how the message is conveyed. Primarily, if the communicated message convinces them the need for changes, the reception may be favorable, but if this is not the case, then there is expected resistance. An analysis of my potential audience gives me the understanding that if I will be clear on what I need to achieve and how it will impact their working conditions, then they will react in a way that they indicate willingness and acceptance of the suggested changes and innovations (Barker, 2010). Therefore, since I will have had a clear communication of why these changes are necessary, I am hopeful that the audience will accept the message that Ford Motors needs changes and innovation. Besides, I can also engage them on personal levels to show commitment, which will involve using emails and memos as the channel of communication.

`Typically, changes in an organization are sure to experience resistance, and this case will not be any different. Though there will be some sizeable degrees of resistance, I will want to make sure that every stakeholder is on board with this plan for guaranteed acceptance. For example, when communicating the message of innovation and changes at Ford Motors, I will concentrate on the people’s reaction to this suggestion. This involves observing the audience’s body language and their behavior towards suggested changes. From this observation, I will get to pinpoint specific characters that may still resist the changes, and work on getting them on board (Law & Verville, 2011). This will involve being a keen listener to understand their feedbacks and opinions. The outcome of this will be that they will feel their issues are addressed accordingly, and we can then get to focus on the roles each one will play for guaranteed substantiation of these changes. Based on reviews, I believe that the employees of Ford Motors are mainly focused on the issue of having better communication. Though this is the only thing that I know about my audience, I will need to focus more on the enhanced success of this communication strategy. First, I will focus on working with individuals and teams to understand the primary drives in their routine jobs. My understanding of the team will be significant in tailoring the message to them since I can focus on communicating it to them and in ways that I am sure they will accept it (Neal, 2010). I will also approach this by making sure that everything that needs to be conveyed is clearly outlined to them.

In conclusion, the overall process of implementation of changes and innovations in an organization requires the best communication strategies. A critical analysis of the situation at Ford Motor confirms this by showing that communication is an important tool in all facets of life, particularly enhanced collaboration in any organization. Therefore, for a productive workplace at Ford Motors, excellent communication strategies are unparalleled. However, the success in having a communication strategy that promotes changes and innovation is dependent on personal engagement with employees. For example, using personalized communication channels, such as emails and memos, is important.
