From this post, it is clear that the bible has demonstrated many leadership theories in practice. The Bible provides evidence of leadership theories such as transformational, contingent, transactional, and situational theories. Transformational leadership enables leaders to inspire, motivate and encourage people to innovate and create change that helps them grow and shape their future positively (Northouse, 2019). Besides, contingent leadership is a leadership style that suits a particular situation, while transactional leadership is a leadership style in which leaders foster followers’ compliance through punishment and rewards. I strongly agree with this post because it elaborates these leadership theories straightforwardly, providing examples in the bible for the same.

I believe that the leadership concept in the bible relates with the leadership theories in practice. Throughout the bible, Jesus Christ demonstrated various leadership theories in practice. He used contingency and situational theories to make people identify which approach to utilize under which circumstances. According to the post, these theories are illustrated in John Chapter 4 that talks about the Samaritan woman Jesus met at the well. The response of Jesus to this woman’s sin brought transformation that changed her life forever.

What stands out in this post is how the author has used Jesus' example to demonstrate these theories. These examples give people a clear picture of how these theories are applicable in real-life situations. Jesus lead people with excellence and addressed issues with religious leaders and those needing deliverance and healing with the most incredible wisdom ever witnessed (Winston & Patterson, K2006). As a result of his leadership, he impacted the life of his followers significantly. Even though this post elaborates biblical concepts of leadership comprehensively, it has not indicated how these concepts relate to the above-mentioned leadership theories. Additionally, the post only based on Jesus' example and forgot to mention people like Moses, Pharaoh, and other prominent leaders in the bible.
