The organization is looking to deploy a bespoke management information system TRX Core. TRX Core will be a cloud-based amendment information system (MIS) solution that offers integrated human resource management, inventory control, project management, business accounting, sales and marketing, business intelligence, and enterprise collaboration. The management and employees will be able to access TRX Core from any location and any browser through a secure Virtual Private Network (VPN). TRX Core also consists of fully functional native applications for android and iOS devices. The depth of integration with TRX Core will help end-users eliminate redundant manual processes. Each module in TRX Core will be interconnected to deliver an integrated experience from application to application. Users will be able to automate most activities that would otherwise require manual inputs into multiple applications. All business functions will be accessed under one dashboard allowing teams and departments to collaborate under a single unified platform. 

Elements of the Management Information System 

Human Resource Management System (HRMIS) 

This is a software system that integrates the core and strategic human resource functions into a single unified solution. The HRMIS will feature a centralized database, an employee self-service portal, leave management, performance management and recruitment (Luan & Zhang, 2018) . Its primary function will be to automate administrative processes.

Accounting and Finance 

The accounting and finance module will help track the organization's investments and assets. The solution will also help the organization manage expenses, sales orders, invoices, track late payments, and compile financial data for reporting purposes (Pollak & Tkac, 2019). The system will enhance the reporting of routing transactions such as bank deposits and transfers. 

Inventory Control and Management 

The inventory management system will be used to track goods throughout the organization's supply chain, from purchasing to production, and sales (Pollak & Tkac, 2019). This will allow the management to have a complete forecast on which individual items need restocking either from the organization's warehouse or any of its retail locations. 

Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) 

The CRM module will consist of all the tools, technologies, strategies, and techniques that the enterprise will use to acquire, retain, and develop customers. The CRM suite ensures that the customer interaction process with the organization goes smoothly and efficiently to achieve the bottom line (Pollak & Tkac, 2019). The CRM suite works with data from different channels to provide detailed information purchase history and purchasing behavior that will help the organization streamline its business performance. 

Generation of Reports 

Reports will be generated from the same data as a means to analyze and track the performance and overall wellbeing of the enterprise while identifying areas for improvements and opportunities for growth. 

Types of Data 

Customer Data: The organization will collect consumer that because it will provide the enterprise with a better understanding of their needs, define their demographics, and find ways in which they can improve the organization's customer experience (Luan & Zhang, 2018) . The data will also be used in digital marketing strategies by helping optimize the organization's marketing campaigns. 

Internal Financial Data: Financial data will provide information about the organization's financial health, thus help in the making of informed decisions on the areas that can provide the enterprise with the best return on investmen (Pollak & Tkac, 2019)t. 

System Features to Address E-business Needs 

E-procurement: This will be a business-to-business platform that will facilitate the sourcing of products and services electronically with the internet's help. 

Online Store: This will be an online storefront where the organization will sell its products and services to consumers. Customers who make purchases will pay through mobile wallets or credit cards (Luan & Zhang, 2018) . The store will be PCI compliant. 

Collaboration: Different departments and teams will be able to collaborate internally or externally (Pollak & Tkac, 2019). The purpose of collaboration among different stakeholders will be to manage projects and shared resources more efficiently.
