It was a short course but its importance has a long term effect because it equipped me with knowledge about the legal environment of a business and how it affects a business. 

Kings College is among the top ten universities in the United Kingdom. I undertook the course through e-learning but I chose the school because of its expertise in issues pertaining to legal matters. Kings College is known for its Commercial w and International Financial disciplines. I was learned from the best college in the U.K and thus the value of my certificate.

La Rochelle Business School 

I attended La Rochelle Business School for three years. La Rochelle Business School is one of the best business school in France providing me with the knowledge and skills I need to pursue my career. As a business student, I took Accounting & Audit, Finance and Management courses. 

Under the Finance course, I learned the fundamentals of banking, finance management, financial analysis, and corporate finance. All the lessons in Finance were important as I learned a great deal of how to manage resources at a personal and corporate level. Corporate finance gave me the edge of understanding how corporate organizations like banks make investments through assessing the economic value of a project. The finance course also gave me the knowledge and skills to analyse financial information. Financial analysis knowledge and skills learned has opened opportunities for me to work in different environments. The knowledge of finance management provided me a foundation to my knowledge and skills in finance. 

At La Rochelle Business School I also undertook Accounting and audit classes. In accounting, I learned how to record, analyse, and communicate financial information. I also learned the multiple regulations that guide accounting. In auditing, I learned the auditing regulations and how to present financial information for auditing purposes. 

I undertook business management classes at La Rochelle Business School. From these classes, I acquired the knowledge to manage the various resources that makeup business. The knowledge and skills that I have acquired from La Rochelle Business School have formed a large part of what my career pertains. I was able to broaden my knowledge of business management. 

La Rochelle Business School is one of the best business school in the world. From La Rochelle Business School I gained an undergraduate degree in business management. The school gave me an opportunity to progress in my career. The teaching team is world-class and I was able to interact with different people with business expertise. It is from La Rochelle Business School that my passion to join a better greater institution for my masters. 

Neoma Business School 

I also joined Neoma Business School where I learned about in management control. The focus of the course was to provide knowledge on how to control organizational resources and how they help firms. The key concept of Management control is measuring the difference occurring between planned and actual performances. In the same course, I also learned about Change management and Information system Management. I have skills and knowledge on Change management in business and how it should be implemented. I also learned the importance of IT and its management in business. Neoma Business School equipped me with different skill sets and knowledge on important business resources. 

I joined Neoma Business School because it is one of the best business teaching institutions in France. Neoma Business School is made up of two institutions that came together to form one large learning institution. Since 2013, the institution has become one of the best business institutions in France. 

Career Objective 

My career objective is to become a Project Management consultant. Since my childhood, the business has always been an area of interest to me. All my courses in school I have majored in learning about business management with main focus on finance, accounting, and audit, and Management. For my Master’s Degree, I want to undertake Major Programme Management. 

At the moment my career objective is to undertake MSc Major Programme Management at Oxford School of business which will help me to become a better program manager. Majorly, I want to learn more about Major Programme Management. I am a dreamer and my dream was to join one of the best university in the world. Now my main focus is to join Oxford University to pursue my master’s program. 

After finishing my MSc program I want to focus all my energy on becoming a program management consultant. Focusing my energy on IFRS 9 and Basel regulations programmes in school will give me the edge I require in becoming a Programme manager consultant. 

Some of the career objective skills that I aspire to have as a consultant of project management are becoming, a consultant who is self-motivated sparking a bright light when it comes to owning up and managing to spread that to my colleagues and teammates. I also aspire to be a good communicator, one who is precise and clear as possible to ensure that time is saved during projects while ensuring that all the information is focused towards the team contributing to work effectively which will be brought out by being a consultant project manager. 

I also want to ensure that in the company I work for, I will bring specialized skills and helpful knowledge in program management to help the company make the best out of the decisions that it will undertake. This will entail providing oversight and leadership in executing programs right from their planning to their completion. As a consultant of project management, I aspire to be a person who monitors and defines each role and function of my team members while coordinating their activities at work hence the great aspiration of being a consultant of project management. 

Oxford Interview 

Currently, I have applied for a position to undertake my master’s program in oxford. I am looking forward to undertaking MSc Major Programme Management in oxford. The motivation of joining oxford as a business school is because I want to be the best at what I do. By going through oxford I know that I will have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to become the best Programme Manager in the world. Oxford University also gives me the chance to acquire the necessary skills to achieve my career objective. 

The motivation of joining Oxford University for my masters is because of the reputation and education quality offered. Oxford School of business has been ranked as the best business school in the world which mean that the quality of education offered is the best. The university is also known for its advancement in research. The school will help me to develop research skills and how to carry out studies. 

Learning at Oxford University offers me an opportunity to acquire exceptional teaching, skills training, and resources for independent study. Oxford has world-class professors that offer professional teaching and help the student acquire the best skills in the market. Evidence also indicates that Oxford students are exposed to a wide variety of careers and the alumni are highly successful. 

Availability of resources that will aid my education such as archives, libraries, and museums also motivates. Oxford has been in existence for a long time which has led to rich libraries with reading materials. Archives hold research resources which I can use to learn. The museum is to remind me about the history of the university and why I should work hard to be part of the museum in the future. Oxford University also has global collaboration which opens the school to the rest of the world. Oxford students benefit from the continuous collaboration of the university and the world. The university accepts students from outside UK which mean that I have an opportunity to join. Also, I have an opportunity to form a wide network and learn from other people from different parts of the world. 

If offered an opportunity to undertake my MSc program at Oxford I will contribute in Major Programme Management and the university at large. I am a creative and innovative person and I wish to share my abilities with students and lecturers to help solve issues that have remained a challenge in the field of Programme Management. I also possess great leadership skills and qualities and I would love to be a part of the student leadership while if accepted. I have always taken charge of my personal, social and professional situations which has made me a self-motivated individual and a great leader. I have always excelled in my education and thus I am a great asset to the university. I would love to share my learning skills and procedures with other students to help them excel-like me. 

Oxford will give me a chance to fulfill my career objective. My undergraduate degree was a business based course and I would like to master on a course under business. If accepted at Oxford University My aim will be to pursue International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 9) and Basel regulations. After finishing my undergraduate I joined the La Société Générale Corporate and SGCIB an investment bank. In the bank, I have been working as a financial controller where I have been handling complex programmes using the IFRS 9 and Basel regulations. It is from this experience that I gained interest to pursue IFRS 9 and Basel regulations in deep. 

Work Experience 

Suz Corporation Cameroon 

I have been working at Suz Corporation as a board member and as a co-founder of the organization since 2018. After working in different countries like Senegal and France, I moved back home in 2018. Interested by the way how new innovative entrepreneurs in Cameroon revolutionized the way to build companies today, I made want to contribute to developing the world of Microfinance in my home Country where collaboration, social interest, creation, innovation, inclusion, and sustainability are keywords. 

As a cofounder, the main aim was to fund startup companies in Cameroon by providing soft loans as a way of supporting the companies. Suz Corporation offers equity and quasi-equity to startups starting from €3K to €10K. My urge to support startups was ignited by a program put in place at Société Générale which encouraged employees to start their own business. Thus I decided to create my social business in my home country Cameroon. I spent three months in Cameroon developing the company and program. I also spend a few hours every week on the business to review and provide guidelines to my cofounder and the team we have in place. 

My roles as a member of the investment committee and a cofounder include Budgeting, fundraising, advisory services, and investor relations. From my experience from working for a large financial institution like Société Générale, I am actively involved in developing the budget for the company. Together with my confounder, it is our responsibility to know where to source the fund to support the mission of the company. I am the head of Investment helped by a team of three individuals. Creating good relations with customers is the key to success of any company. 

La Société Générale Bank 

Financial Controller / International Program Manager - IFRS 9 & Basel Regulation Implementation at La Société Générale Bank, September 2017-Present 

From September 2017 up to date, I have been serving as a financial controller at La Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking called SGCIB). My Responsibility is to regulate requirements implementation with internal control. I am in charge of IFRS 9 and Basel Implementation for France and other entities in other countries Worldwide. 

In the bank, I am in charge of Project management. The project involves handling complex programs for implementation of IFRS 9 and Basel Regulations. Management of IT systems. Other duties also include designing and implementing the bank’s desired goals and objectives. The goals and objective of the multinational investment bank is to provide the best banking services and supporting growth and development. I am also involved in processing the bank’s documentation and its respective controls. Giving a comprehensive report on the bank’s productivity and data quality. 

I also play a role in Continuous Business Improvement. Definition of staging regarding IFRS 9 and calculation of ECL. There has been a continuous change in IFRS regulations and it has been my responsibility to make continuous improvements in business activities using by implementing the changes. Offer a simplified way in which the auditors may implement rules and help in the introducing safeguards for limiting the credit losses 

Among my many achievements in the company include data collection, calculation of ECL, staging permanent IFRS 9 solution right from scratch. My areas of specialty in the company include Basel IV regulations, Basel regulations, and IFRS 9 regulations. Through these achievements, I have helped La Société Générale Bank improve its operations. 

Deloitte Luxembourg 

I worked as an auditor at Deloitte, Luxembourg for two years from October 2015 to July 2017. Deloitte is the oldest and largest professional services firm in Luxembourg. Deloitte has a talented team which serves all clients in different industries and takes pride in their ability to provide services that are quality in accountancy, audit, financial advisory, consulting, and tax. 

I Coordinated audit engagements (planning, fieldwork and wrap up) for Financial Services Industry companies (FSI) under LUX, US GAAP and IFRS. Documented and assessed the effectiveness of internal controls in order to define the audit strategy to be used in reviewing the financial statements. Identified and reported critical issues early, proposed solutions and communicated them effectively to team members and clients through presentations and written reports. Assisted with the career development of less experienced team members, providing mentoring and delegating tasks effectively, and team management. These were my core missions at Deloitte Corporation. 

I was responsible for audit engagements and team management . I was engaged in internal audit matters of the company and managing the individuals in the audit team. In Deloitte, I was involved in continuous business improvement. I was engaged in innovative projects always to serve the customers better and embracing changes to succeed in the digital world. The main focus of any service company is to meet the needs of the customers. Thus I was part of the team that ensured better services to customers. 

From working as an audit engagement and team leader at Deloitte I acquired knowledge in taxation, financial market, as well as in auditing. I also became a good team player and communicator with skills in customer service. Working at Deloitte, therefore, helped me become a good leader. 

Veolia Paris Experience 

The span between October 2012 and September 2015 I worked as a Supply Chain IT Program Manager at Veolia Paris. Veolia Company majors with waste and water management operations and energy services. Veolia W ater is part of a large company that employs around 163,226 employees by 2016. 

Among my missions was to perform project scoping to launch with business stakeholders. Performs editor and/or supplier comparison through an RFP, in coordination with all stakeholders (business, purchasing, functional architect). Manage contractual aspects in coordination with Legal and purchasing department. I worked with the legal department and the purchasing department of the company to coordinate contracts. Define and manage project planning, scope, and budget. Manage to report to executive instances, risks and alerts. Analyzes functional solutions, requests cost estimations. Coordinates all project stages, in coordination with the business project manager (specifications, follow-up of the development team, User Acceptance Tests, Change Management, and Move to Production). I was also engaged in project animation to create a better picture for the stakeholders before the commencing of any project. 

At Veolia, I was involved in Continuous Business Improvement. I played a role in Coordinating AMS suppliers to deliver evolutions, in coordination with CBI Manager: review solutions, challenge cost estimations. Working together with CBI manager we were able to engage in a continuous evolution of the company. We engaged in reviewing solutions to the problems of the company and helping in cost estimations in the budgeting area. 

I gained experience in project management. I also gained the experience of working with different departments of an organization such as IT, Legal and purchasing areas. It was also the first time that I handled an entire program on all levels. 

I worked as a Program Manager at Entrepreneurs du Monde (NGO) Sénégal from November 2011 to October 2012 . Entrepreneurs du Monde is a french organization created in 1998 and its work is to intervene with the developing countries’ populations through improving their living standards. T o do this, the association acts as an incubator of programs with a long-term vocation to promote employment, especially through social microfinance, social entrepreneurship, support for business creation and access to employment. Since 2005, Entrepreneurs du Monde manages and develops Palmis Mikwofinans Sosyal (PMS), a microfinance program with a strong social vocation offering services financial and social benefits of proximity and quality to the poorest micro-entrepreneurs to enable them to improve their living conditions. To date, PMS has 100 employees, 9 branches and 8,500 actives for € 1.2 million in outstanding loans

My missions included Mobilizing finances and resources while controlling the costs. Ensuring that the update of the risk mapping is done, identify donors and investors to increase income. My responsibilities at the company included Managing Palmis Mikwofinans Sosyal through holding the strategic and operational objectives account. I was also involved in monitoring the implementation of the company’s action plan. I played a role in defining actions to be taken in order to reach the project’s objectives. I was also involved in ensuring the development of the field activities in accordance with the operational and strategic planning of the organization. 

I acquired skills in team management, became efficient in advocacy and representation, rigorous and acquired the ability to meet deadlines. Improved interpersonal skills as well as communication and listening skills. Capability in decision making and gained a strong capacity to analyze situations critically. 

Walt Disney Company Orlando 

The time span between February 2011 and July 2011 I worked as a Resort Hospitality Trainee at Walt Disney Company Orlando. I was responsible for training the newcomers on the software used at Disney’s All-Star Resorts. I also did Revenue Management, budgetary forecast, profitability calculation, management of the hotel’s activities, Sales, income and gross margin follow-up, and was also a Guest Relation Officer. 

For the five months I worked for Walt Disney Company Orlando I gained experience revenue management, budgetary forecast and hotel management activities. Operations in sales, profit calculation, and income follow-up also expanded my skills in financial accounting, especially when dealing with a large corporation. Working as a trainee at Disney opened opportunities for me to work in large corporations. 

LIDL Lille 

I worked as a program management officer at LIDL Lille from September 2007 to September 2010 . Lidl is a group of stores that sell a wide variety of goods and products are usually pioneers of discounts. It was founded in France in 1988 and is ranked number one discounter in Europe. It has over 315,000 employees in all its branches. In France, there are around 1500 Lidl stores. 

At the store, my responsibilities included participating in the implementation of a new loyalty card system for the clients and other projects. Managing the production of the required goods and deliverables. Maintaining and preparing the project stages and execution plans. Designing program management standards. Monitoring the use of resources and initiating corrective actions when necessary. Experience and Achievements: Acquired the ability to apply PRINCE2 project management approach to certain projects handled. Established a good working relationship and gained the skills of managing, directing, and motivating a project team. Ability to apply quality management processes and principles.
