Meaningful Ideas

From the two articles, it is evident that transportation facilities Plays a central role in economic development. Transportation facilities are key contributors to cost savings that accumulate to affect the economy. The idea is that transportation or rather good infrastructures enable individuals to save time and money and investing in developing another economic aspect. For instance, with air transport, people can travel several miles in hours for meeting and transactions hence saving time (bca.transportationeconomics, n.d). Another good example is that good transport networks ensure low environmental pollution thus avoiding the pollution risks, therefore, sustaining the economy.

Nevertheless, infrastructures facilitate accessibility of both labors and efficiency. Transportation enables the workforce to move from their home to their workplaces. On the other hand, it increases the scope of the geographical area to source for employment. Employers can employ people from a different geographic location within and without the country. Expertise can be sourced from foreign countries as they can travel to the offices or the work centers with ease. In other words, transportation enables businesses to run efficiently by allowing movement of goods from one place to another and accessibility of labor. Therefore, when businesses have a better running chance in the economy grows and there is an economic advancement. Without transportation networks, movement and accessibility become a challenge for companies stagnating the economy.

Personal Connecting

Transportation plays a role in the day to day activities of individuals whether professionally or personally. Transportation enables students to get to school on a daily basis to gain the knowledge and skills required in the marketplace. Students can pursue their courses from an institution they prefer regardless of the distance from their homes to the facilities. Transportation makes it possible to access the school. On the other hand, transportation enables one to seek other services such as medical services from best practitioners regardless of the location. Also, transport allows individuals to exploit their interest in travel and experience the diversity of the universe. By exploring and accessing services, the economy shifts towards growth and development.

Changes

From the analysis of commercial transportation, one can derive some smart ideas that when implemented amount to more significant benefits. An excellent example of a profound change to implement is maintaining transport infrastructure in excellent condition. Through the analysis of economical transportation, I see the benefits derived from transportation networks hence I can play a role in allowing transportation as much as I can. Maintenance would involve ensuring personal vehicles are roadworthy to minimize accidents and embracing clean energy to eliminate pollution on the transport networks.
