This practices should stop as it is unethical and it’s aimed at profiting the directors instead of benefiting this debtor being offered the services and the investors. The mortgagors should be given the priority in the verdict taken by the corporation as they should not be distressed to make the loans as well as the terms of repaying the credit should be favorable and flexible. Stakeholders should as well benefit from the enterprise for the dough they have financed in the company.
Discuss the ethical school you chose to determine if the current practices are ethical?
The anticipated action is authorized since the corporate management has maximized the profits to managers who have low debt rates. Despite the legitimacy of this action, it does not gratify the shareholders’ significance as the work is aimed at benefiting the manager’s only. These would affect the stakeholders, as they would have to put more possessions to finance the firm ( Dzuranin, Shortridge, & Smith 2013 ). The action is unscrupulous to the bondholders as it does not yield any fruits though it aims at aiding local, state, and regional managers. The best resolution is not to abolish the action and implement an action that would impact to extreme benefits to stakeholders, managers, and customers. These would ensure excellent benefits to all societies involved.
Discuss whether long-term benefits of reforming the current practices would be better for shareholders than the short term profits of continuing the current practices?
Ameliorating the present action would be more advantageous more so to the stakeholders as they will profit and warrant equality to all people involved ( Dzuranin, Shortridge, & Smith 2013 ). The current practices would impose more problems shortly as the investors may end up being the loser.
