In reviewing Veteran’s Care Unconscionably Delayed, different aspects attached to healthcare delivery are projected. This research may take into account the activities and instances pertaining to healthcare delivery, for instance, facility structure or type may directly influence service delivery. In the case of facility structure, administrative organization, either private non-profit or private for-profit, will influence the pace at which patients with a similar condition are handled ( Pozgar, 2014) . In many cases, this is normally determined by the value of the expense they are likely to incur, possible losses and the overall management strategies especially where the need for profits is given priority over service delivery.

A healthcare administrator appointed or recruited to deliver at a private non-profit healthcare institution is likely to enjoy a lot of advantages as non-profit healthcare systems are normally aligned to unconditional service delivery, unlike the profit-oriented institutions which in many occasions focus on money making ( Pozgar, 2014) . Private non-profit healthcare institutions are relatively quicker at service delivery therefore limited cases of possible delays in handling clients with unconscionably condition as opposed to departments in profit-aligned healthcare institutions.

As an appointed healthcare administrator for Veteran Administration (VA), I would ensure delays related to the handling of patients are minimized or controlled by ensuring the pace of the service delivery does not depend on the availability of money on the client’s side. This would, in turn, inspire fellow administrators to adopt some levels of self-discipline, therefore, facilitating cooperation. Ethical issues present in this situation, especially in healthcare administration is lack of commitment among the staffs of the healthcare institution. Poor levels of self-discipline have affected the healthcare industry for years, therefore, posing a great ethical issue and crisis (National Academy of Engineering & Institute of Medicine, 2005) .

VA leadership should, therefore, reduce the waiting periods, especially for clients seeking medical consultation (National Academy of Engineering & Institute of Medicine, 2005). Regular supervision of their staff integrity and consideration of correspondences will limit such occurrences in the future. In the situation where the affected was relative to one of the employees, the situation would be different as treatment would have been facilitated at a ‘relatively’ faster pace.
