Her career in politics has been one of the most exemplary fetes achieved, and she continues to outshine many political figures in her mannerisms, leadership tenure and a host of other accomplishments. Moreover, considering she is a woman in a largely perceived “man’s field”, one could most certainly say, she is a force to reckon with. Her political career started while she was the First Lady of America whereby she took on the mantle of becoming a primary advocate on all matters that related to the reformation of the health care sector. The year 2000 saw Hillary Clinton make history in the nation when she was elected as the first lady to ever be in the United States Senate (U.S Government Incorporation, 2012). Hillary was the New York senator from 2001 – 2009 having won her senatorial reelection bid in 2006 by a landslide. She became Secretary of State, and in her tenure, she galvanized the nation and emerged as a great strategist while the homeland went through tough times during the Arab revolutions. In conclusion, Hillary Clinton is an actual embodiment of the virtues of conscious leadership and one who is social, loving, hardworking and above all full of integral ethics. Her accomplishments continue to reverberate throughout the political corridors. Overall, she exemplifies the collective spirit and as such works towards the achievement of common goals and ideals of a conscious leader.
