As much as most countries have laws regulating taking advantage of seniors, the crime is still alarming. Therefore, through the use of statistics and graphs, you can literally and figuratively educate elders on how to curb tricks used by cyber predators such as purchasing non-existing products and services online. Others include targeting elders with pyramid schemes in the name of get-rich-quickly and a failed promotion on reverse mortgages and loans.

Therefore, when communicating cyber-crimes issues to youths, consider telling them to avoid talking to strangers online. Young people like to share on social platforms what they feeling, doing, fashion, and various aspects of their lives with little knowledge on who is viewing their posts. Therefore, it is important to teach them to avoid unnecessary posting that makes them cyber-prey.
