Life is often not easy as people frequently experience challenges to achieve their goals and become the best version of themselves (Maddock, 2012). However, how these challenges are perceived and reacted to determines our capacity to succeed (Maddock, 2012). Therefore, I have realized that individuals should learn how to assimilate their failures deliberately and purposefully to attain full potential.

One of my experiences that I failed forward is when I decided and successfully developed a mobile application that allowed parents to block their children from accessing sites with adult contents comfortably from their end using children's device IP address. When I conceptualized the idea, most of my peers laughed and claimed that I could not do it because they viewed me as incompetent. Having no background in computer programming and app development, my attempts to make this reality and save thousands of young teenagers and parents seemed farfetched.

After taking some mobile app development tutorials, I began my project with great enthusiasm. However, along the way, I experienced numerous challenges and felt like losing hope. Criticisms and laughter from my friend made my frustrations worse. However, with great determination to achieve my highest potential and make the dream reality, I decided to take the time to educate myself on the essentials of mobile application development. Additionally, I opted to seek advice from experts in mobile app development and the ones I developed a good rapport with, reflected on the impact this could bring if I was able to develop the app, and learned from my previous failures. Within six months, my mobile application was complete and functioning effectively.

One experience that I failed to fail forward was establishing my website to become an Amazon Associate as an affiliate marketer. It has always been my desire to create avenues for passive income. However, this venture flopped, and I did not attempt to engage in it. I believe if I could have determined the possible and potential difficulties before the establishment of the website, developed marketing strategies, got advice from those who were already in bossiness, then I could have succeeded
