Budget Review
Based on my monthly budget, and a review of the expenses, I can say that I included all costs which I would expect to incur when I start working. On my budget, I have tried my best to base my costs on the average living standards of an American citizen. This is because I cannot predict the future, so I have tried to create my future monthly budget based on the average monthly costs I would expect, as well as the average salary I would expect to earn as a Nurse Practitioner, given that I am not certain the state I will work in the future. Overall, the total monthly expenses and investments are lower than the net income, which means that my budget is appropriate one, which takes into consideration the income I expect to earn as a Nurse Practitioner, meaning that I will be living within my income level.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
In preparing the budget, one of the key factors I had to consider is that once I graduate from college and get a job, I will have to settle and have a family. Therefore, my budget is based on the assumption that I will have a get married and have one kid. Therefore, most of my monthly expenses in the budget reflect the costs which I would expect to incur on a monthly basis as a family. For example, for the home cost, I have included the cost of a mortgage instead of a rent expense, because my goal is that I will need my own house which is large enough to accommodate my family and also close relatives rather than renting one, which would make it difficult for us to live comfortably.
Fundamentally, I have tried as much as possible to create a manageable and successful budget which will help in keeping me green and helping me understand where all my money will be going. The budget will also serve as guide for when I will be looking to make more money both in my career and outside my career, since the goal of every individual is to make as much money as possible whenever they can. My budget is future oriented, and thus I will dedicate a large percentage of my income to investments and savings, because I would not want my child suffer as I have.
Particularly, I have estimated my monthly recurring costs and expenses based on the average costs of these bills which my parents and other ordinary citizens pay. I am aware that these bills and expenses are subject to changes, and they might be higher or lower by the time I start living by myself and paying for my bills. Most importantly, in my budget, I will try to live within my means, and thus I will limit any unnecessary expenditures as well as debts. My expenses will be aligned with what I will be earning. For example, I will not buy an expensive car, but I will go for a good family car which will help us in moving around. Overall, I have been realistic when creating this budget, and I have considered myself as an ordinary citizen who will live an average life.
