As a group, our main aim is to stay focused on doing the task at hand with minimal distractions. However, we are cognizant of the fact that the journey will not be entirely smooth; conflicts are bound to arise from time to time. These can be interpersonal conflicts, failure of members to show enough commitment, and tardiness. When these conflicts arise, we should aim to resolve them as fast as possible so they do not derail the project. Below are the specific measures we will take to resolve conflicts in the team.
Non-performance
The group shall meet regularly to set short-term goals and to record the progress. If any member has challenges completing the tasks assigned to them, they should notify the other team members immediately. They do not have to wait until the next meeting. If a particular member fails to achieve their targets, and they had not informed the team of any challenges beforehand, they will be given about 15 minutes to defend their performance in the meetings. Depending on the issues put forward, the group will deliberate on ways of addressing the challenges. Possible solutions include modifying the roles of the non-performing member or swapping roles within the team.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Tardiness
Every member is expected to report to group meetings on time. If a member arrives late, they should explain the reasons for their lateness to the team and apologize. If a member is late for three consecutive meetings, the other members will decide on what disciplinary measures to take.
Professional and Interpersonal conflicts
The group will resolve professional and interpersonal conflicts by having mediation meetings. Minor conflicts will be solved in the regular meetings, but we will have emergency meetings for serious conflicts. In the mediation meetings:
Every member will be given time to explain the conflict and its roots.
Each person should come to the meeting with ideas on the best way to resolve the conflicts.
Every member is expected to allow other members to express their opinions without interrupting.
The members will consider all the solutions suggested and agree on the most appropriate course of action.
