I became interested in matters to do with the monetary and banking system at the age of twelve when I earned my first dollar washing my mother’s car. As time passed, I realized that people with accounting knowledge, as opposed to the ones without, understand the future of the society and have a deeper insight of any major decisions that are made by the government on behalf of its citizens. I knew for sure that I wanted to become that person. To increase and broaden my knowledge on Finance and Accounting, I began reading a lot of book and magazines such as “The Economist.” I gained more insight into the topic, some that were not even taught in school. As a result, I realized that Finance and economy affect every individual in their daily lives. Consequently, these readings have strengthened my desire in to continue pursuing the subject. Additionally, through studies at school, my writing and analytical skills have been improved. My communication skills and self-confidence have significantly improved where I am able to appreciate and open up to other cultures. As such, I believe I am a valuable asset to any finance company.
There are several companies that I aspire to work with in the future; to help make a different and develop my skills as an accountant. These companies include PricewaterhouseCoopers, Grant Thornton, Deloitte and Hilton Worldwide. All these companies have been in business for a very long time and continue to commit to providing innovative, quality, satisfactory services in banking, investments, insurance among other services. As such, working with either of these companies will be a tremendous opportunity for me to make a difference while working with a strong, committed team. In addition, this would be a chance for me to gain more knowledge of the corporate world and to be more informed of the different aspects that pertain to finance and accounting. This will help grow my career as a person and improve the lives of others by providing excellent services in such companies. Given a chance by any of the above companies, I believe I will make a difference in our society.

As a result, there will be better management of money, even to the low-income earners where everybody will live a better and happy life. However, I do not plan on earning another dollar by washing a car ever again.
