Statistical applications and tools play an essential role in undertaking various processes involving the planning, collection, and analysis of data. The statistical tools and use enable in an effective process of collecting and interpreting data into meaningful information. According to Liu, Guthrie, & Soto (2016), different statistical tools and applications provide an avenue for ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of the statistics obtained during any given research process. The methods involve mathematical formulas and techniques that help in analyzing random data. In my research projects, I intend to employ various statistical tools that will help in enhancing the overall process of data collection, analysis and interpretation. The statistical tools that would be applicable in this case will include statistics software package and Microsoft Excel, which will capitalize on the statistical process. The selected statistical tools and applications that were studied during the course will enable in enhancing the data collection process to obtain meaningful data.
The decision to use the mentioned statistical tools is attributed to the fact that the tools are efficient and provided an avenue to ensure that data collection and interpretation processes are error-free, which is an aspect that promotes reliability of information. Additionally, the statistical tools are useful considering that they are simple to use as they do not provide complex situations to analyze and interpret data. To effectively employ the statistical tools, I will focus on the implementation of the knowledge obtained during class work, which involves ensuring that the collection, analysis, and interpretation processes are in line with the statistical tools. According to Liu, Guthrie, & Soto (2016), Microsoft Excel is a statistical tool that allows in making a proper analysis and interpretation of data considering its layout and various aspects that are defined with the tool. In that case, this will help in ensuring that I obtain useful data considering the use of effective tools and applications that were examined during the course.
