How I Will Be as A Leader.
I want to emulate Barack's leadership style; in the future, I plan to own a restaurant with the business skills I acquired in college. I will be a democratic leader, and everyone will have the opportunity to contribute to ideas and encourage (Heller, 2019). Being democratic means focusing on prompting equality and free flow of resources and ideas with proper guidance and controls. I will promote open communication, which is a critical skill. When managing conflict, the collaborative style will be my priority to ensure that both parties are satisfied. The collaboration will be more interactive to encourage brainstorming than just solving problems (Heller, 2019). I would seek a win-win solution to improve work relationships whereby both parties will feel satisfied with the outcomes. All these skills are essential to the success of my future business.
