Continuous variables are variables that have an infinite number of any possible values ( Thomaz, Silva, & Costa, 2013 ). The continuous variables chosen for the assignment are height and weight. Primarily, the variable has fractions and decimals and therefore appropriate examples if continuous variables. Moreover, the date regarding height and weight as readily available and can be obtained quickly as people when measuring weight they measure their height. Moreover, the data to be used is for people between the ages of 20 and 91 years old.

A measure of central tendency is the value that tries to describe a set of information or date through identification of the central position of the item. The common forms of measure of central tendency are mean, median, and mode. The possible mean of the weight of the data is about 68 kg for male, and the female is about 66 kg. The average height of the data is about 1.73m for male and 1.64 for the female ( Thomaz, Silva, & Costa, 2013 ). Moreover, the median height could be 1.75 for the male and 1.66 for the female. On the other hand, the median weight of the date on the side of the male could be 70kg and 67kg for the female. The most occurring height for the male is 1.75m while for the female the mode height could be 1.68m.
