Conduct a needs analysis for the proposed request for funding for ambulatory aides

Market research has to be conducted to come up with the end user opinions on the ambulatory designs. Market research will provide the best direction for the ambulatory designs and devices. The views of the end users in the need analysis are inherent to the operations of the design team for the ambulatory aides whose funding is being conducted. The users of the ambulatory devices will have the aides marketed to them by the organization to ensure the potential market is targeted. A feedback mechanism will then be created to collect feedback on the effectiveness of the ambulatory aides (Bruton et al., 2015).

Evaluate data gathered on the need for the resources.

Veteran Affairs Maryland Health Care Systems (VAMHCS) has various needs that need to be addressed as far as the request for funding in the ambulatory aides' project. Since VAMHCS is a not for profit organization, its total assets are considerably low. In the fiscal year 2013, the assets of the company will total to $ 74 billion. That was way lower than the company's liabilities which stood at $ 2.01 trillion. In the fiscal year 2017, the total assets of the company totaled $ 80.4 billion. That was an increase from the financial year 2013. The liabilities had also increased to $ 2.80 trillion.

Justify why the resources are needed.

VAMHCS has had an increase in the total liabilities of the company from the financial year 2013 to 2017. The increase in the total liabilities indicates that there is increased spending at the facility, and particularly in the coming up with and implementing the ambulatory devices. VAMHCS has a limited opportunity to engage itself in the investing like the for-profit businesses across the United States of America, and therefore it has to request for funding from the donors in the country (Mort et al., 2015).

Evaluate the effect increased resources will have on improving patient care.

Increased resources will be a turning point in the patient care at VAMHCS. The facility will have the better-trained personnel to handle the patients. That will improve the quality of the patient care at the hospital. Additionally, there will be more money to purchase the medical equipment needed for patient care at the hospital. That will also be an essential step towards the improvement of patient care (Stoddart & Evans, 2017).

Determine whether there is a need for a contractual agreement or not.

The funding at the VAMHCS has not been consistent in every financial year. This is because the organization depends on the donors across the United States of America. The donors do not give a constant amount of money and do not do so in a periodical manner. It is necessary for VAMHCS to have a contractual agreement with a donor so that they can have steady sources of funding.
