The primary question of interest is how preventable cancers can be minimized among populations living in poverty. Cancer is recognized as the major public health concern across the globe and it is ranked the second most cause of death in America. Analysis of the cancer mortality rates based on poverty level in the United States would help to provide estimates on the new cancer cases as well as deaths occurring nationally in each state of America. Having knowledge on population-based data on incidence of cancer helps to offer significant insights on how the preventable cancers can be declined among disadvantaged populations.
The value of the manuscript is that it offers information regarding why there is an increase in preventable cancers among populations in the poorest countries. The question of interest is worth answering because it offers insights on the significance of applying broader knowledge on cancer control to help improve the cancer cases occurring among the disadvantaged groups. Therefore, the question would help in offering insights on how new incidences of cancer can be addressed to improve the quality of life among poor populations.
