The terrorist groups recruit people to join them using various strategies. Firstly, these terror groups recruit through extremist religious teachings. Several strategies can be adopted cripple the recruitment efforts of the terror groups. First, all governmental agencies and security organs across the world must monitor teachings in religious circles to ensure that they are not extremist and radicalizing in nature. Secondly, the sources of income for such terror groups must be frozen to ensure that they lack funds for recruitment (de Frías, Samuel, & White, 2012). Lastly, there should be worldwide sensitization against radicalization and violent extremism.
