Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology makes use of wireless signals in interchanging information between write device known as an inquisitor and the ticket. The tags of an RFID have an aerial and radio bit that are protected in a shell attached to a point they can be identified. The ticket has a power that makes it active when transmitting power which is received from the reader signified by moving electromagnetic ridges (Fan et al., 2015). RIFD has made a major impact on inventory through its implementation by improving the accuracy, speed and its efficiency when tracking stock lists. 

Inventory management is the balancing of inventory requirements and needs which is essential in minimizing the costs that result when holding it. Maintaining the optimum level in inventory is the most important objective when controlling it (Quansheng, & Junbin, 2015) . The RFID technology has led to maintaining of accurate history of every point in the stock list such that every month’s most serialized day have an improved client satisfaction, better control of stock lists and a reduce of loss.

RIFD has also enhanced automatic tracking in stock list which has enabled companies have quality control of their remote distribution points and better safety. Most restaurants are now able to insulate the extent of quality control jobs or safety and the beginning. It also reduces the answerability and potency for bad public dealings by avoiding possibility to function a client with poor quality points (Fan et al. , 2015). A stock clerk can decide on quality jobs and nutrients safety much faster which is more precise and better in the trailing system. 

The technology is now able to facilitate tracking of objects instead of using the traditional technology of scanning objects using bar codes when keeping track of a storeroom’s items. The unique identifier found in the RFID’s tag, consists of a string of letters and numbers which has three sets of data partitions. It also has header that enables tracking of items with the use of an Electronic Product Code (EPC) ( Quansheng & Junbin, 2015) . It has enabled identification of the manufacturer, product type and the serial number which is unique to the item.
