Social sciences software (SPSS) is a great statistical tool that can be used by clinicians to understand the frequencies presented by a particular data set. This post has established that SPSS can be used to expound on descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression. In the case of descriptive statistics, SPSS can be used to find the median, mean, and mode of a particular data set. The good thing with SPSS is that one is able to establish the variables in a far much better way as compared to other statistical tools. The post has outlined several examples to support the use of SPSS such as establishing the relationship between well-being and meaning in life in a correlational relationship. While SPSS has numerous statistical benefits to the clinicians, it presents some challenges. From the post, it is clear that SPSS is prone to human error especially if there are large quantities of data.

Peer Two

This post echoes the first post largely especially on the use of SPSS as a statistical tool as well as its limitations. The post establishes that SPSS is a great tool as it helps users to enter their data, see the results, and change the commands. In this case, SPSS can help the researcher to see the results of several data sets with much ease. Moreover, SPSS is commended for its ability to handle z scores, t scores, and standard deviation thus helping the researcher to give more meaning to a data set. Additionally, the post heralds SPPS since it is a great tool for computing simple statistics such as mean, mode, and median. Just like the first post, the post establishes that SPSS has a limitation in that it may not be applied to an extensive data set. Large data sets may pave the way for human error in data entry and analysis.
