He called the company’s Chief Executive Officer- Bill Hewlett- and explained his predicament. As a result, he obtained the parts required and also secured a job at HP. The ability to explain himself in a way that people could understand his vision became evident throughout his career. For example, the illustration that focus on elaborating how Apple I operated garnered Paul Terrell's attention. Jobs’ exemplary vision becomes apparent in his conversation with a credit manager as he purchased the parts he needed to assemble 50 units as requested by Terrell.
