My personal dimension of leadership incorporates such traits that blend rational cognitive thinking processes, innovative character and interaction that advances a mutual respectful way not just for the individual benefit but also collective growth. In retrospect, as the subsequent discussions will show, these values closely identify closest to my personal beliefs and perceptual understanding of what leadership means in the context of the purposes it serves.

Values that guide you from an individual or “I” perspective

In my view, the leadership principles of how one leads other depend on the foundation values that one upholds in their day to day activities. The behavior of one understands the world and the way that one treats their environment borrows a lot from those attributes that guide one’s behavior and actions. So, in recognition of this fact, I believe that the values that guide my individual perspectives include logical (Rational) thinking processes, Intellectual (Reflective thinking), Loyalty, Responsible and Self-Control. From a personal perspective, these values are of great importance towards guiding how one makes their decisions, how they think and come up with solutions to problems that one faces.

Logical thinking helps guide how I understand such behavioral patterns of my perceptual understanding of the duty to myself and self-improvement efforts of those around me. Intellectualism, loyalty and responsibility are very important towards ensuring that how one belief’s they should conduct themselves that becomes part of how the decisions make the world a better world. For intellectualism, it is very important for the way I reflect on certain ideals that help to self-grow myself. Without reflecting on personal choices and personality, I believe it is impossible for one to achieve their own goals and objectives that help to inspire effective leadership. Last self control helps to grow one’s self-restraint that is very crucial to making remaining practical as a leadership. In its absence, an individual is vulnerable to reactions that may affect the efficiency of one’s decisions in their position as a leader with devastating results to the world (Pundt & Schwarzbeck, 2017). In brief, the combination of these characteristics is very effective towards ensuring an effective way of becoming a good, effective and reliable leader.

Values that guide you from an interpersonal perspective.

Interpersonal relationship entails the relationship that one has with other people within their immediate environment. Simply put, the values that one holds regarding the interpersonal perceptual understanding of the relationship with others for me requires that a person does not in any interfere with the space of the other person but not at the expense of the same reciprocation by both parties. To this end, the first value that Identify with is equality because I strongly believe that any discrimination if allowed or entertained by a lead it breeds hostility and dissent among those you are leading. In recognition of this fact, it is accurate to hypothesize that by embracing equality, in principle, allows for the developing of strong connections with other people (Behrendt et al., 2017). The other values that guide me from an interpersonal perspective are freedom and social recognition. Through these two values, my personal leadership model because an asset for creating connections with the people I lead thus I am able to grow my charismatic attributes. Charisma helps to breed an element of loyalty that is a very important aspect of being a good leader.

Values that guide you from an organizational perspective

Effectiveness of leadership is dependent of the particular way that a leader inspires the drive towards a common goal in a very capable way that also includes being able to work for a common vision that positively stimulate the growth of everybody. Carefully reviewing the available options of the attributes, I am confident that the ambition, capability and helpfulness are the three core values that guide my leadership model form an organizational perspective because of the impact that guides how one should manage an organization. With ambition, a leader is able to achieve a self drive that is very effective in seeing things through that not only helps one grow their career but also inspire the growth of the an entity (Burnes, 2013). In principle, one is cannot actually help an organization make the next step of growth if themselves are not ambitious. That is why this value is of great importance in making sure that in all my leadership roles, I improve the organization to achieve better results.

Values that guide you from a societal perspective

For the society point of view, the values that guide me include Wisdom, A sense of Accomplishment and pursuit of a comfortable life. These three are key asset of how I apply my knowledge towards making change possible in the world within my environment. Per se, wisdom helps my understanding of life in a very intimate way that allows for the correct decision making approaches that lead to result that positively impact the life of the society. A sense of accomplishment helps one to make to do things both in leadership positions and outside that have a sense of permanence which from a societal perspective is the core foundation of positive impact of society (Howes, 2018). Lastly, the comfortable life value for everyone is also very important because it shapes my behavioral understanding of the way that every action as a leader contributes to a better life for everyone.

Conclusion

To conclude, the foundation values of leadership should not just lead but also inspire such actions that drive not just me but also those around me to their best. To this end, achieving this goal requires that the principles embrace such attributes are rational, inspire creativity and progresses a form of interaction at all levels of organizational units that is mutually beneficial. Thus, each of the sections above separately discusses the meaning of the set of values identified and more importantly, elaborates on how these influence the way that there is a positive growth of one’s environment.
