In economics, the term margin refers to additional or extra. The concept is based on the fact that small decision can have major impacts on that business. Any margin is important I the business sectors. In fact, business people focus on the concepts in trying to make a decision that affects all the areas of the production. The common marginal terms in economics include marginal cost and marginal benefits. In the past, the concept was used to refer to profits that the business had made after subtracting the product cost, and expenses that were incurred in the process.

The best way of thinking about marginal concepts is through trying to understand what marginal cost and benefit are as indicated. Marginal cost is the cost that is obtained after an additional unit or output. Marginal benefits, on the other hand, refers to befits a person gets from consuming or producing an extra unit. In the business sector, such terms are used in the calculating the amount of profit obtained in a certain period. In fact, it will determine if the business had made any profits or losses. To ensure that an organization maximizes the profits, the margin between the rate of production and the outcome should be significant. In that light, the output should be bigger than the production rate. Based on that the marginal cost would ensure that the stakeholders can determine the amount they invested and their returns.

Another way of analyzing the margin concepts is through looking at it a business circle. In that light, when the business expands, the circle will increase which indicates that the margin of the business also increases. When the business reduces, the circle will also reduce which shows that the business is performing very low. In the process, as the business expands, there are also of expense which will be incurred in the process. For example, it will need more workers who will be included in the margin. The more the business expands, the higher the number of workers it would need. As such, the marginal cost of labor will also increase. The terms that are used to refer to the expenses that would be administered when the business expands is the marginal cost. For example, if is a production company, it will need more resources as well as suppliers to ensure that it meets its production targets. In that process, the marginal cots will also increase to cater for all the needs and expenses. The marginal benefit will also increase due to the huge gap that the business would have carted in the process. Through the process of merging, the business will create two equal margins. As such, they will have to share all the marginal cost that the business will need in the process. However, the business will also be required to share the marginal benefits. Some people believe that such move is not effective since the marginal benefit will be lower than the marginal cost. In that light, they do not prefer forming any merge. Another important aspect of forming a merger is that the business will share all the losses if t does not perfume as expected. When looking at the business circle, as it expands so as the margin. It means that the rate of losses will also be much bigger.

In the theory of competition, the marginal firm refers to the one that will stop any production if the prices fail. As such, they depend on the pricing of those commodities to base their production rate. They will also have to look at other factors such as the demands and supply for the market. If the demand in the market is higher, they will increase their production depending on the marginal cost. However, if the demand is reduced in any way, the marginal firm will reduce their productions. They base their production rate on the marginal concepts. As such, it tells how marginal concepts are important for the success of any business. On the other hand, the marginal seller refers to any firm that is willing to sell its product in regards to the market prices. Such firms are flexible in that they will reduce the rate of the product but they would not stop producing the goods. As much as the marginal cost would be higher, the firms will also achieve its marginal benefits.

The elasticity of demand and supply in the commodity is measured only at the margin. In that light, the demand and supply must be equal to ensure that the margin aspect is experienced. In the business sector, the concept of supply and demand focuses on the type of production rate experienced by both parties. They will have to analyze the market to determine how the two aspects will meet at the equilibrium. Based on that, the marginal concept will be established depending on the commodities in the market. The equilibrium of demand and supply varies depending on the type of good and services in the market. As such, the marginal concept of one commodity could not be used in another.

The net margin is a very important concept in business as it refers to the additional output the company has made over the years. It also refers to the annual income as well as its total revenue. The managers have been given the responsibility for analyses how the net margin has been achieved in a given financial years. In fact, every company must conduct a process to determine the net margin for that period before they can conclude that financial period. Through that one margin, the stakeholders will determine the revenues invested as well as their returns. It shows how net margin is very important for any business. Also, in the modern business world, the employees are usually paid according to the net margin. However, they must have signed contract that will ensure such type of transactions takes place. It is believed that through allowing employees to be included in the amount the company makes during that financial year, it will motivate them to put extra efforts in their work. They will know that their payments will be determined by their output during that period. However, it can also be a risky move for the employees since that financial year; the net margin might be very low which will indicate that the profit margin is lower. Regarding calculating dividends, the net margin is usually placed into consideration.

In economist, the marginal cost of business usually reduces as the business expands. That is why some companies prefer margining so that they can reduce their marginal cost and expand their marginal benefits. Through merging, both companies will have to share their marginal cost which includes the cost of production as well as the expenses involved. As such, they will have much bigger marginal benefits through that process.

The marginal cost of employing labor refers to the amount that it would be required to pay the workers and the income that they would have brought to that organization. Such measures should be very calculative. Managers are advised to ensure that the rate of output is equal to the amount of input in the production sector. Some managers might end up employing fewer staffs in which they will have to increase their input while the output remains lower. Based on that, the marginal cost of labor should be equal to the marginal benefit. Employees are more motivated if their input is equal to the output. Also, motivational aspect should be included in the process to ensure that the rate of input is higher. The production rate will depend on some efforts that are put in the business process. In business, the managers have the power to determine the marginal benefit. They can put certain factors into consideration to ensure that the marginal benefit is higher than the marginal cost. One of the ways is through training the employees so that they will be equipped to carry out their work. In that light, the marginal rate cost of labor will be lower than the marginal benefits incurred during that production process. Effective workers tend to increase the rate of production which would be a benefit for the organization.
