With the increased global technology, international trade, and soaring fuel prices, it is a collective obligation to the society to make sure that they adopt positive and efficient methods which facilitate environmental management while limiting destruction caused by land clearing to make space for new transport channels such as roads.
High consumption of fossil fuels, i.e. diesel is highly attributed to air and water pollution. Therefore with the advancing technology which includes electric rails and modernization of cargo handling, people be encouraged to utilize the available resources while striving to prevent pollution which has adverse effects on their health and climate. Continuous use of one mode of transport cause unintended traffics and noise pollution which also facilitates the expansion of roads and rails to accommodate the increased number of vehicles. However, the ultimate bearer of environmental consequences are the same people involved in facilitating transportation.
