Research Question
According to Le et al. (2020), the research objective was to examine the trend of diabetes mellitus in the Beilum District. However, the study aimed to identify possible solutions to the epidemic and, thus, develop plans that could help improve the prevention of diabetes Mellitus.
Study Variables
The study variable focused on the trend of diabetes mellitus. In this case, the prevalence of diabetes was the independent variable, whereas the results on the number of persons diagnosed with diabetes were the dependent variables. Therefore, it is apparent that the number of diabetes patients was dependent on the prevalence of diabetes. As a result, the prevalence brought about a continuous variable, which is BMI.

Statistical Test Used
Correlational statistics was applied in this research. The statistical test done included numbers of patients with diabetes mellitus in comparison with relevant dependent variables. The tests done were carried out by SPSS software. It was used to analyze the patient’s data with respect to their cohort groups. Age morbidity and the Basal metabolic Index were well analyzed, and the resultant impact they have on diabetes in the region was outlined.
Conclusion
Conclusively, from the results, epidemiological characteristics were influenced by people’s lifestyles. The sugar levels consumed by individuals led to the basic metabolic index increase, thus increasing the risk of one getting the disease. Besides, chronic diseases are closely related to diabetes mellitus. As a result, it is recommended that individuals maintain a healthy diet and appropriate exercises as it will help improve the Diabetic Mellitus situation in the Beilun district.
