Did you learn anything new? If yes, what did you learn?
Yes, I learned something new from the federal budget process. Primarily, I learned that federal budget operates just in the same way our houses budget works. From the income, the government depends on income taxes and debts from the World Bank. We get salaries as our income and also at times borrow money from other institutions. The government also has the expenditures which are mandatory the same war we have in our houses. Another new thing I learned is that its only 15% of the federal budget is spent on everything else.
Do you think the information is essential to know or useful to you personally? Why?
The information on the federal budget is very useful to me personally. I found the information useful because the federal budget process helps me understand how the federal government spends the tax we pay daily. I used to think that the federal government does not allocate enough to the people. Now I know there is an allocation for the development of the State such as infrastructure. The process also helps me to understand how to make my budget back at home because the process does not differ.

Is the information relevant to your practice as a Human Services professional? Why?
The information about the federal budget is very relevant to me as a Human Service Professional. As a Human Services expert, I have understood well what percentage of the budget the government allocates to my department to deliver my services to the United States citizens. At the same time, how the federal budget is processed has given me an idea of how I should also structure the budget as a Human Services professional for quality service delivery.
