Ethical leadership is the aspect of directing others and being an example in acting in a moral manner with the aim of getting results that benefit the majority. In my case, I have to ensure that my actions can be emulated by those that look up to me. As a leader, I have strived to ensure I improve on the attributes that make me an ethical leader. One aspect that appeals to me is trying to be responsible. By focusing on the concept of responsibility, I ensure that all aspects of my job are accorded the needed attention (Bonner, Greenbaum & Mayer, 2016). I am always willing to account for actions and take corrective measures in areas that do not meet expectations.  The Clifton Strengths analysis indicates that I am a learner. I strive to ensure that I exist in an environment where I can tap immense knowledge. In my position, I have to pass on the knowledge to the individuals that look up to me. I have to guide them and encourage them to continue improving on different spheres. I am also an achiever. I would agree with the test since I focus on succeeding in all areas of my life. I have to ensure that my team can succeed and I have to establish a strategic direction that helps them achieve their objectives (Greenbaum, Quade & Bonner, 2014). As an ethical leader, I have to be flexible such that the members of my team will feel comfortable approaching me. The openness within the group helps in achieving the established objectives and boosting morale. I would like to improve on my communication skills to ensure that I can communicate with my team in an effective manner (Engelbrecht, Heine & Mahembe, 2014). With my strengths as a relator, I will interact with my team easily because I do not have any barriers affecting our relationship. I will also be receptive in trying to understand their unique needs and coming up with appropriate ways of meeting them. My ethical principles require me to treat every employee equally and limit or avoid possible instances of favoritism (Grover & Hasel, 2018).
