The first career in finance and accounting I am interested in is the director of accounting at Pinkerton Ann Arbor in Michigan, the United States of America. The second career I am interested in is the finance controller post at Amazon. The third career I am interested in applying for is the finance analyst at GroupM in New York City. I am interested in being the director of accounting since it allows me to combine leadership and accounting, which are areas that we have tackled in my course at the university. Secondly, being a finance controller at Amazon allows me to exercise the ability to monitor the flow of money at the company's outlets. Being a finance analyst gives me a chance to practice the skills of evaluation of financial trends, their predictions, and analysis of their overall behavior in the economic sense.
All three accounting and finance careers allow me to blend finance and leadership. The qualifications required for the director of accounting at Pinkerton are having a high school diploma; participation in the company's prescreening process for the drug tests, and the right to legally work in the US. A finance controller requires having a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting. Furthermore, the position requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the fluency in English (Indeed, 2019). The qualifications that are necessary for the finance analyst position to include the 0-1+ years of experience in the field of accounting. Moreover, a finance analyst requires to know the fundamental accounting concepts, proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to work on multiple projects with a particular degree of flexibility (Monster, 2019). Therefore, the three posts in the field of finance and accounting require ability in the proficiency of Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint, English as a language and the application of accounting principles.
