Organizations have different participants and levels, which may lead to various issues that can derail progress. It is imperative to adopt proper leadership and management styles to mitigate such adversities and improve organizational structures to warrant progress. EMS systems require such proper adoptions to improve internal and external structures.
The working environment entails many agents performing respective duties, which may result in frequent issues. Any establishment has employers and employees with different levels in the workforce, such as team leaders, department heads, and typical laborers. In most cases, such environments occupy a diverse group with every individual facing specific duties and objectives. The overall goal of all agents involves ensuring the prosperity of an establishment. It requires every player to participate in the overall goals, aspirations, vision, and mission of a firm, a task that demands substantial input from all levels. Some of the issues that may arise that may impede such progress entails sluggishness, disagreements among agents within a firm, or a general feeling of biasness. Such issues have terrible effects for establishments such as losses, failure to complete projects, and disenfranchising of the entire organization. Extreme cases may lead to bankruptcy thereby lead to closure. Such adversities require avoidance by enacting sound leadership.

As a new manager, I believe emotional intelligence management methodology is an ideal system I would adopt, coupled with pacesetting and participative leadership styles. A head of an establishment requires sound engagements that would establish himself or herself not only as a manager but also as a leader. It offers a balance of approachable management and sound leadership. The backdrop of the performance of a company relies on the head; a leader leads while the rest follow. I believe emotional intelligence will work best in the new docket I have as it connects to the workforce knowing the plight of every individual. It is from that standpoint that I may address personal issues dogging different subjects. I will have characteristics such as “self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, motivation, and social skills” that facilitate connecting with the workforce (Putranto et al., 2018). Pacesetting will assist in the achievement of goals offering ideal approaches that warrant the progress of the company. For the participative leadership style, it will help have proper relations with subjects.
EMS systems require sound leadership that would benefit the internal and external domains. Such systems address pertinent issues regarding health of individuals dictating the necessity for the most ideal practices. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is one organization that is workable with given the incentives they provide for health care systems that facilitate proper adoption and use of medical information technology (Buchbinder & Shanks, 2017). It is a capacity-building organization that would assist in the mission and vision of EMS systems. The adoption of sound leadership in such an entity would improve the efficiency of service delivery and meeting obligations. The two are pertinent issues when it comes to health given the handling of lives of people. The task is a prominent one that demands the best engagements as the opposite establishes realization of weak structures leading to poor service-delivery that can draw adversities such as deaths. An improvement of EMS systems through sound leadership bears a positive influence on the community as it improves their health and welfare.
The diversity of players in an organization and the multiple engagements of different levels in such an environment can contribute to organizational issues such as biasness or confrontations between different parties. I believe as a new head, emotional intelligence as a management technique coupled with participative and pacesetting leadership styles will help establish as a leader and manager. Sound leadership for EMS systems will assist internal structures to achieve set-out goals and benefit the community through improvement on their welfare.
