In your discussion, you stated the five qualities of a nursing leader that would promote transformation in the field, and attributes include commitment, vision, self-drive, intellect, and empowerment. I also think that the best tools or aspects that nurses could be provided with to create the best practices that promote the dissipation of efficacious care are time, opportunity, and proper remuneration. According to (Fischer, 2016), the nursing department and its leadership require adequate funds so that the nurses can produce the best results. The money that is provided is to be used for fixing the safety issues that are most noted and reported by the nurses. Therefore, improving the quality of services delivered.

Furthermore, nurses also need the right opportunity to air their opinions and contribute to the decision making process. For a leader to ensure that their department is working efficiently, he or she has to allow the staff to air their views and frustrations. In the context of leadership in the nursing field, holding meetings that allow other practitioners to share their ideas is imperative in ensuring that everyone is on board with the proposed transformation changes.

Moreover, I agree with the point that nurse leaders need time. They need adequate time in the department to enforce their transformational ideas before their efficiency leaders is appraised. Also, the time is instrumental in allowing the entire department to familiarize itself with new ideologies and strategies.

In your discussion, you mentioned that there are several challenges that leaders face in their line of work. I agree with you that inadequate staffing is a significant limitation. Without enough staff, they cannot enforce most of their principles and ideas. As a result, the deterioration of the quality of care is an inevitable end. I think that inadequate funds is another problem that faces leaders in the nursing profession. Without adequate funds, they cannot implement their new strategies (Fischer, 2016). Wholesomely, I find your discussion to be informative and incisive.
