Introduction 

Dietary juice has been proposed to be the cause of chronic illnesses and other cardiometabolic risk influences. Research has shown that a high intake of sugar leads to individual body weight. Also, it has been identified that an individual's intake of either solid or liquid sugars might lead to effects on blood sugar and other infections. Fortunately, the Montmorency tart cherry juice has been considered to play a vital role in retaining a healthy heart by minimizing bad cholesterol and systolic blood pressure in older adults. A high intake of food containing much sugar can cause blood pressure and lipid infections. 

Scientific Methods 

Scientific research comprises five main steps. First, the researchers identify the natural phenomena and define the question concerning them. Second, they developed the research hypothesis to explain the observation. In this step, the researcher tries to provide the probable solution to the question on the observation. Third, the researchers develop experiments to test their hypotheses. Fourth, the researchers analyze and summarize the data obtained from the observations and experiments. Finally, they interpret their results, draw conclusions, and repeat the processes as there are no research outcomes that are considered perfect.

Observation and Hypothesis 

In the study “Dietary sugars and cardiometabolic risk: systematic review and meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials of blood pressure and lipids' effects,” Morenga et al. (2014) conducted research to assess the repercussions of the moderation of nutrition sugars on lipids and blood pressure. They observed that nutritional sugars cause various chronic illnesses. Also, they found out that sugar causes severe illnesses, obesity, and cardiometabolic risks. Besides, the researchers observed the relationship between dental carries and free sugars. The researchers never found persuasive evidence on the casual correlation between sugary foods and other influences of body weights. They never stated the exact hypothesis, but from my understanding of the experimental research design, the hypothesis could be: consuming sugary foods can result in lipids and blood pressure infections and other cardiometabolic risks. 

Experimental Design 

The experimental design is crucial in regulating the factors related to the research hypothesis and controlling bias in the results. In the article by Morenga et al. (2014), the experiment rotated on nutrition sugar impacts on lipid and blood pressure. On the study designs, the researchers conducted a systematic search on the Scopus, OVID, Cumulative Index of Nursing, among others, to help identify the studies that had recorded high consumption of sugary foods. Their outcomes indicated a minimum of one blood pressure or lipid results. The trials were conducted within two weeks using the inverse-variance technique. The control group was the children and adults who were advised to regulate their intake of sugary foods or drinks (Morenga et al., 2014). The treatment groups comprised the participants who took sugary foods and drinks and had at least a measure of lipid and blood pressure effects. The independent variable is the free sugars. The dependent variable is the lipid and blood pressure infection. 

Results and Conclusion 

The researchers identified thirty-nine trials on the research results, in which thirty-seven had lipid results and twelve had blood pressure outcomes. The subgroup analysis showed an association between lipid and sugar intakes, but the researchers balanced the energy to avoid weight change. The impacts of sugar intake on blood pressure were recorded to be high, with the trials exceeding eight weeks. The study concluded that dietary sugars impact lipids and blood pressure. Also, the association was found to be independent of the impacts of sugars on body weights. 

Critique of the Research 

The tests, subjects, and treatments were appropriate and relevant for the experiment. The test subjects were children and adults to determine the relationship between dietary sugar and lipids, and blood pressure. The research subjects and treatments were appropriate for studying blood pressure since it is a common illness in the world. A research conducted by Northumbria University (2016) identified heart disease to be among the leading causes of death in the US, and its mainly led by factors such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity. Their study showed that men who had early symptoms of high blood pressure were identified to have reduced at around 7% after they drunk Montmorency cherry (Northumbria University, 2016) . The research also showed that England had five million individuals impacted by hypertension. However, the research sample size was not enough, which resulted in a shortage of dietary intake data. Also, the study took less than eight weeks which was a short duration for conducting numerous such trials. The research method applied was a search strategy that helped identify other experiments associated with impacts on individuals' blood pressure and lipids. 

Relevance 

The research was very relevant since blood pressure is a severe disease that affects people globally. A study by Fattore et al. (2017) found that high sugar intake has been identified as one of the main causes of development in non-communicable illnesses. Therefore, it is the main concern since, daily, people consume sugary foods, which increases the amount of sugar in their bloodstream. The research has helped me understand the impacts of consuming excess sugar. Understanding how to prevent poor eating habits can help people from suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure. I love consuming sugary foods, although I have never been diagnosed with diabetes or any heart disease. The research has provided an insight on the impacts of sugar in the body, in which, going forward, I will regulate my intake of sugary foods to maintain good health and avoid diseases. 

Conclusion 

Dietary foods have been identified to have a close correlation with blood pressure and lipid infections in the human body. High intake of sugar foods causes energy imbalance in the body which leads to heart diseases and diabetes. Cherry juice has been identified to have a greater impact in reducing the levels of blood pressure. The study has been effective in determining how dietary sugar causes blood pressure illnesses. People consuming sugary foods should visit health care to seek medical advice before being affected by chronic illnesses.
