Considering the various philosophical or ethical inclinations portrayed by individuals, I would agree that I subscribe to the humanist school of thought. My lens is enhanced by the acceptance that I would rather be rational or empirical in my approach instead of being superstitious and a slave of dogmas. The society we live in has played a great role in making me a humanist. Right from the family and through school as an individual, my encounters have influenced my choice of the right approach towards life. More so, with the rise of the internet, it is easier to traverse the world and undertake a self assessment.

As a scholar and an enthusiast of the academic pursuit, I believe that there is no better approach that would make the world a better place without leaving any individual under any form of pressure. The focal point in the administration of philosophical humanism is human need and interests. These are some of the institutions that I hold dear and when our practices play a role in maintaining some balance in the society, I feel accomplished.
