From a human rights perspective, I believe it is appropriate for foreign terrorists to be granted the right to a speedy trial. However, that is upon discovery of full coverage of their activities and exemption from cruel punishment as human beings. They should also be accorded the right to remain silent as well as exemption from unusual punishment as justice should prevail for not just Americans but everyone.
