The goal of AARP is “to enhance the quality of life for every individual as they age through championing for positive social change and delivering value to the individuals” ( About AARP , 2020). The company has helped over 50 million people from low to moderate-income taxpayers live a quality life after retirement (Anderson, 2015). Through its continuous innovation strategies, AARP has managed to change older adults' quality of life in areas like health security, financial resilience, and personal fulfilment as stipulated in its principles (High, 2017). Aflac focuses on living its principles by helping policyholders in the time of health, illness, or other life situation events. Over the years, the company has fulfilled its principle of improving lives by helping many children who have cancer and other serious illnesses to get adequate treatment in the best hospitals. Aflac is committed to its principles by empowering people to pursue their dreams in employees, sales distribution, and independent sales agents through connecting members to potential customers (Hamma, 2019).
