The Middle East is a transcontinental region which is centered on Western Asia and Egypt in North Africa; the majority of the middle east occupants are Arabs, Turks, Persians, Kurds, and Azeri’s which constitutes the largest ethnic group in the region. The Jews, Assyrians, Lurs, Tats, and Shabaks are the minorities who live in the Middle East. In the Middle East, there are several religions which are Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Baha’i Faith, and Mandaeism. the middle east has a hot, arid climate, with several major rivers providing irrigation to support agriculture in limited areas, for example, Nile Delta, Tigris, and the Euphrates. Some countries in the Middle East which border the Persian Gulf have vast reserves of crude oil, with monarchs of the Arabian Peninsula, in particular, benefiting economically from petroleum exports. Migration in middle east provides an important event for labor market pressures; when it comes to the economy of the middle east the economies range from being poor to extremely wealthy the Gaza and the Yemen happens to be poor while Qatar and UAE are rich. The Middle East countries maintain a positive growth rate as they keep on growing economically, therefore, improving their living standards. As an American, I think that studying the Middle East is important and Americans should study the Middle East.

Americans seem to differentiate themselves from the Middle East and that’s why some Americans urge that it is not important to study the Middle East. According to me, I will urge that Americans needs to study the Middle East; this is because studying the Middle East is of the essence as it will help the Americans understand the Middle East countries well. It is good to understand other people and when one understands who they are it becomes easy for them to mingle. Studying middle east is important to Americans as first it will let the Americans understand who are the middle east, and what are their culture their preferences and their likes thus when we come into conduct with them there will be n conflicts. Understanding who Middle East’s are will enable Americans to create a good understanding with them. Studying Middle East makes Americans be familiar with the history, religions, and politics of the region thus equipping them with cultural competence and language proficiency.

Additionally, it is important for the Americans to study the Middle East; this is because an American can want to do business with the Middle East and if we have knowledge about the Middle East it will be easy for an American to operate a business in the Middle East. When we understand a country it means that we understand their terms, rules, and regulation thus it’s good to study the Middle East so as to have proper knowledge of who Americans are. Studying the Middle East will also show that Americans are concerned about other nations as through their study they will come up with solutions to the problems facing the Middle East countries. It is also important for Americans to study the Middle East especially Arabic as this will distinguish themselves in the professional world with a high demand of Arabic language. Studying Arab will also encourage a greater understanding of Arab culture in the United States.

Both United States of America and the Middle East are all independent; the Americans got their independence on July 4, 1776; the Americans wanted to be independence from Great Britain because the king created unreasonable taxes; the taxes were created just because Britain fought the French and Indians. The American colonist decided to separate from Great Britain as they wanted to have more control over their own government and economy. The Britain needed money to pay their war debts; the king and the parliament believed that they had the right to tax colonies and decided to require several kinds of taxes from the colonists to help pay the French and Indian war; in return the colonists felt discriminated and started to resist by boycotting, and refusing to buy the British goods. Many of the Middle East countries are also independent and are no longer colonized; the Middle East countries are independent and democratic. To avoid problems and conflicts the governments are democratic. The U.S is independent and due to the democracy, the U.S keeps on growing day by day.

When Trump took the office, in three days he appointed his son in law Kushner to be the Middle East mediator; President Obama did the same thing when he appointed Sen George Mitchell to bring peace in the Middle East. This is not good as it shows how people that are leaders end up considering their family members or relatives when it comes to the matters of the state. This shows how leaders make choice following their personal interest and forgetting the public whom they should consider. The leaders also happen to choose the wise and successful people, for example, Obama appointed George Mitchell because he has some history where he played a big role in negotiating for peace in Northern Ireland and the Middle East such for him to be chosen Obama considered the role he played and thus chose him. Jared Kushner also is a businessman who happens to be committed and when President Trump chose him he knew that he will be committed to mediate for the Middle East just as he does with his business.
