The health insurance plant has a stipulated monthly premium which is paid via cost-sharing for services, co-payments, or through their own deductibles being paid on annual basis. Therefore, the hypothetic patient is informed of the monthly premium that is due on an annual basis. This helps the hypothetical patient to establish a plan of establishing the annual payments. The healthcare delivery system in the underlying case study depicts procurement procedures, patient choices and regulations that are in line with the healthcare sector (Lavio, 2016). The challenge in the case study is that the patients are presented with limited healthcare insurance cover options, which may not be favorable to most of the clients who are low-income earners.
