The city of Santa Ana in California is 337, 304 people. In the city, there were 482.1 violent crimes and 2155 property crimes. Another city is that of Corpus Christi which is in Texas (cctexas.com, 2018) . With a population of 324,326 the city has experienced 645 violent crimes and 3465.6 property crimes. There is also riverside California which has a population of 323,064 people all of who have committed 446 violent crimes and 3259.7 property crimes (riversideca.gov, 2015) . Lexington Kentucky on the other hand has a population of 314,077, 322.4 violent crimes and 3949.7 property ones (lexingtonky.gov, 2018) . Lastly, there is St. Louis in Missouri which has a population of 317,095, 1817.1 violent crimes and 6316.1 property crimes.

The city with the most crime is St. Louis, Missouri. This is a city with the second-lowest population among those listed but it has the highest of both violent and property crimes (slmpd.org, 2018) . That is then followed by Lexington in Kentucky and then Corpus Christi which is the followed by Santa Ana. Santa Ana did experience some upticks although it is generally getting lower than it has been historically (santa-ana.ca.us, 2018) . When it comes to Corpus Christi, the trend is not consistent as one year it increases while the other it goes down. It is thus unpredictable. Although in Riverside the rate dropped from 2012-2015, it is increasing today.

Although Corpus Christi has average violent and property crimes but has high rape and theft rates throughout the country (cctexas.com, 2018) . The reason for this could be a culture of superiority and authority that are common in the area. Santa Ana is experiencing low crime rates because of the crackdown that police had on the area ever since 2010. Lexington has been experiencing a lot of violent crimes which could be because of a good flow of guns into the city. It means that the local authorities will have to change some of their laws to reduce these crime rates. For instance, it would make sense to ban guns from Lexington to reduce the murder rates (Goldsmith, 2000) . The data could be from crime analysis from the cities. The cities of Lexington and Riverside use crime mapping.
